My wife set this site up for me so that I could blog about my experiences from the time that I had major, life-saving surgery on August 25, 2017, through everything that followed since being diagnosed with stage 2b uterine myxoid leiomyosarcoma, and subsequently starting chemo on October 10, 2017. Right now, I don’t know how often I’ll be posting.
My wife thought that writing about my thoughts would help me. But that it might also help others out there, as we are having a lot of trouble finding much out there about this cancer. We especially wanted to find and read posts by survivors; people who are NED (No Evidence of Disease) and people who are surviving years with tumors. So many sites haven’t been updated in ages. I don’t know if they just stopped updating and are fine, or….
If this helps even one other person, that is great.
Amanda will work on keeping the Timeline page updated, so even if you don’t see regular posts from me, you’ll still know basically what’s going on with me.
