My wife set this site up for me so that I could blog about my experiences from the time that I had major, life-saving surgery on August 25, 2017, through everything that followed since being diagnosed with stage 2b uterine myxoid leiomyosarcoma. My wife thought that writing about my thoughts would help me. But that it might also help others out there, as we are having a lot of trouble finding much out there about this cancer – especially in regard to personal experiences.
Update: Teresa passed away in January 2019. Her widow maintains this site, and continues to post about things that happened after she lost Teresa, things that happened in the hospital that never should have happened, and so forth. This is partially for healing, but also to help others. Teresa was always all about helping other people, and wanted her story out there in case even 1 thing would help someone else have better results. She wanted Amanda to write a novel about her experiences, and in late 2022, she was finally able to start keeping that promise.
Her obituary is available under the “Remember Me” menu tab.
